Slioorin kennel is a small kennel in the town of Vaasa. We are three persons behind Slioorin kennel; Tepi, Miia and Maria. Tepi started the kennel by himself in 1994 and the first litter was born later that same year. That first litter consisted of only one puppy, "Onni."

Miia joined the kennel in 2000 and the idea was that she would someday continue with the breeding. But since things don´t always go according to plans and because Miia only had males and no bitches it was a bit hard for her to continue with the breeding. Therefore in 2010 Maria came into the kennel which was quite natural since we already owned 3 dogs together and Maria had bought her first bedlingtonterrier from Tepi and Miia in 2004.

At the moment Miia lives in Karperö just outside of Vaasa with her two sons Eemil and Elias and her four bedlingtonmales; King, Ali, Konsta and Urho. Miia has had bedlingtons since 1997 when she got her first one, Slioorin Oh My God "Oskari"

Maria lives in Vaasa with her partner Janne and daughter Emilia. At the moment they have four bedlington bitches; Tilda, Ella, Ester and Sumu and two Scottish deerhounds Ch Mycroft´s Lorentz Lander "Lorentz" and Ch Essentianan Balfour "Bafi". Maria got her first sighthound in 1990 and that is a love that will never die!

For Tepi bedlington has been the only breed and at the moment he lives with his three "girls" Fasu, Pumpuli and Nekku in the centre of Vaasa.

After a few quiet years we now hope to be more active as breeders. We have had the pleasure to import two bitches from Malin Eriksson, Isotop´s Bedlingtons and one male from Eva Byberg, Toolbox Bedlingtons. Since these dogs really represent the type of bedlingtonterriers that we appreciate it´s only natural that we wont to continue our breeding with these dogs.Thank you Malin and Eva for letting us have these wonderful dogs. But most of all thank you for all your support and friendship!

We hope to be able to breed healthy and beautiful bedlingtons that will be of great joy to their owners and a pride to the kennel.
